How pay is quoted

In Greece pay is often discussed as a gross monthly figure rather than an annual salary, and our own board advertises Athens roles both ways. When you make an offer, say clearly whether a figure is gross monthly or gross annual, and how many payments a year it is spread over, so that you and the candidate are comparing the same number.
