About the Role:

First achieve engineering are recruiting on behalf of our client in Coatbridge for an

experienced Brake Press Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term

position with a well-established company. After a 13-week temporary period, the successful

candidate will be offered a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating brake press machinery safely and efficiently

* Setting, adjusting, and maintaining equipment

* Working from technical drawings and specifications

* Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished components

* Following health & safety guidelines at all times

* General workshop duties as required

Requirements:

* Previous experience operating a brake press (essential)

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

* Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Hours & Pay:

* £14.50 per hour 39hour week standard

* Temp to perm after 13 weeks

* Overtime available paid at 1.5X

* Day shift role (Early Finish Fridays)
