First Achieve's Engineering Department is actively recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our prestigious client in Livingston on a permanent basis.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance to a high standard. You will respond promptly to plant breakdowns and use your fault-finding and problem-solving skills to resolve equipment failures. Your work will contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults using test equipment and hand tools.
* Perform electrical installations and planned preventative maintenance.
* Interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, technical drawings, and schematics.
* Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
* Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using computer-based systems.

Skills & Experience Required
* Time-served Electrician with City & Guilds 2360, HNC, or equivalent qualification.
* Proven track record in fault finding and reading technical/electrical drawings.
* Experience in using test equipment and performing hands-on electrical repairs.
* Competent with electrical installations and scheduled maintenance work.
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Computer literate and able to manage basic digital records and systems.
