First Achieve are proud to be recruiting for a skilled Fabricator/Welder on behalf of our leading manufacturing client in Worcester. This is a great opportunity to join a busy production team where precision, quality, and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role:
You'll be fabricating and MIG welding heavy gauge components (up to 20mm) to a high standard, ensuring all work meets exact specifications and deadlines. From interpreting detailed drawings to testing welded surfaces, you'll play a key role in producing durable, high-quality products.

Key Duties:

  • MIG weld & fabricate heavy gauge steel components (up to 20mm)

  • Align, connect, and finish components using various welding techniques

  • Smooth molten metal to remove creases and imperfections

  • Test welded surfaces for strength and quality

  • Calculate dimensions and work from detailed engineering drawings

  • Adhere to PPE and maintain high housekeeping standards in the workshop

About You:

  • Minimum 4 years' Fabricator/Welder experience (required)

  • Experience working with commercial vehicles (desirable)

  • Skilled in plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting, and manual press brake operations

  • Confident using hand tools (grinders, drills, etc.)

  • Safety-conscious and detail-driven
