We are seeking a Financial Controller for our client to support operations in Greece and Cyprus. This role reports to the Finance Manager and is part of the Finance Department. The position focuses on financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting management with critical insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
* Prepare and analyse periodic financial and economic reports.
* Conduct variance analysis and evaluate business line performance in collaboration with operational teams.
* Develop presentations for senior management at both local and HQ levels.
* Produce corporate cost analyses, monthly/annual forecasts, and financial models.
* Support accounting activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation in line with IFRS/local GAAP.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a mandatory background in a Big Four firm.
* Strong accounting and financial management knowledge with expertise in local and international standards.
* Hands-on experience in financial closing, reporting, and compliance.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/accounting systems (SAP or similar).
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Team-oriented with a structured and detail-focused approach.
