Hybrid Role (First 5 months on-site for training) | Salary: €1.800-€2.200 net/month
Our client is looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to take ownership of firmware and hardware development across emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and central battery panels. You'll lead a team, design embedded solutions, and contribute throughout the development cycle-from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement firmware based on project needs
* Develop in C for embedded systems
* Contribute to schematic design and PCB layout
* Manage firmware architecture, testing, and product validation
* Document code and technical details (Doxygen, Confluence)
* Lead and mentor a small team of engineers
Your Background:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar
* 5+ years of C programming in embedded systems
* 5+ years of experience in electronics design
* Experience with Cortex-M (M0-M7), RTOS (FreeRTOS), and MCU programming
* Strong grasp of embedded architecture (CPU, memory, peripherals)
* Familiar with Git, Jira, and serial protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
* Capable of navigating large codebases and assessing design risks
* Effective in team collaboration and problem-solving
Bonus Experience:
* EMC-focused PCB design
* Object-oriented programming in C++
* Familiarity with networking (Ethernet, WiFi), Cloud, and Cybersecurity
