First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Valve Technician for their client who are a with a leading organisation in the Oil and Gas industry supplying their client valves and actuators worldwide.

Full Time - Dayshift.

Salary £34-38k + OT/Offshore Work

Role:

  • Strip, inspect, assess, report and rebuild all valve types and operators.
  • Fault finding to assess root cause of receipted valve failures.
  • Pressure testing to various specifications and international standards.
  • Development through continued training.
  • PSV recertification campaigns.
  • Working closely with co-workers and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Completing documentation / QA Cards associated with repair scopes and testing.
  • Ensuring compliance to documented procedures and customer specifications.
  • Travelling to customer locations to carry out field service work when required.

Qualifications:

  • Time served with at least 6 years' experience preferable.
  • NC/HNC in relevant domain.
  • Knowledge on a variety of valve types.
  • BOSIET and MIST certified.
