Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerA well-established UK-based engineering firm, operating within multiple high-integrity industries, is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support site operations, production uptime, and continuous improvement efforts. What You'll Be Doing:Conducting reactive and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipmentSupporting the development and execution of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM)Diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical and electrical systemsManufacturing simple replacement parts using lathes, mills, and welding equipmentAssisting with machinery moves, installations, and modificationsWorking at height and operating Forklift Trucks and Mobile Elevated Platforms (training provided)Supporting and supervising third-party contractors as neededReporting faults and maintenance concerns to supervisors and logging via the in-house maintenance systemInstalling, inspecting, and repairing 110V, 240V, and 415V three-phase electrical servicesReading and working from electrical and mechanical drawingsEnsuring adherence to current Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and maintaining high workplace standards What We're Looking For:Time-served engineer or equivalent qualification in mechanical fittingFormal qualification in IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 or equivalentPrevious experience in a similar maintenance engineering roleStrong understanding of machinery installation and process improvementFamiliarity with conduit, armoured cable, tray and trunking installationsComfortable using a range of testing equipment and interpreting engineering drawingsMulti-skilled across mechanical and basic electrical disciplinesStrong understanding of quality, health & safety, and housekeeping best practicesValid UK Driver's Licence What's On Offer:Competitive salaryOngoing training and development supportGenerous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional daysContributory pension scheme with life assuranceAccess to cash-back healthcare plans (optical, dental, etc.)Virtual GP and employee assistance programmeRecognition and rewards schemeCycle-to-work schemeRetail and lifestyle discounts About the Company:This UK-based engineering group has a legacy of more than two centuries, with global operations across Europe, Asia, and North America.
