Front End Developer (5)
Front End Developer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a sports-focused Front End Developer to join a tight-knit team of developers, designers and copywriters in a brand new office, in the heart of Manchester. You might even get to go to Vegas! Interested? Read on!
What do the following three things have in common? Absolutely nothing, but if you’re a developer who has an interest in sports, has knowledge of social media, and have always wanted to go to Vegas, keep reading…
As a Front End Developer, I’m sure you’ll be used to building strikingly beautiful web pages with a stunning implementation of UX/UI designs. Or you might look at web pages and mentally edit them, wondering when you will get a chance to showcase your ever-evolving coding skills and take the next step in your career.
Well, you might just have found it –
A sport and gambling focused online media company in Central Manchester is looking for a Front End Developer, to help build and develop its multiple sites. Across social media, the business’ brands have over one million followers, with written and video content that attracts more and more views each day.
You would sit within its established dev team, building and developing sites that create content for breaking sports news and reactions. So, if you’re a sports fan, this one’s for you!
To be great in this role, you will put your Front End developing experience to use in a sports and gambling focused environment, and produce code, scripts, controls and all the necessary configurations to fill design requirements.
You will bring a creative, problem-solving way of thinking into the team, along with a positive attitude, and an interest in learning new things.
So…as the Front End Developer, you will work alongside the digital designers, creative copywriters and, of course, your tight-knit team of developers in their brand new office.
The office, complete with a beer and wine fridge and multiple televisions showing Sky Sports all day, every day, is in the heart of Manchester. (Three of my favourite things!)
But why else would you want to work here? Well, they dress down every day, have flexible working hours and have regular socials.
To keep within their sporty aesthetic, you’ll be taken to Ascot Races, casinos for your staff parties (and even be taught how to play poker), and you’ll be taken on the company holiday every year. All the staff put their new poker skills to the test in Las Vegas for four days on their last holiday!
If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been waiting for, get in touch!
