Job description

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Their own transport (preferable as public transport to the site is not reliable)
  • Settled UK Status/UK Citizenship
  • Must be residing in the UK at the time of application
  • Experience in Sheet Metal Work / Metal Fabrication / Plating
  • MIG welding experience would also be required.
  • Aluminium Welding Experience would be a pro.

What's on Offer:

  • Temporary (probation) period of 12 weeks, then transfer to permanent
  • Paying £17 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
  • Paying circa £15 per hour once permanent
  • 39hr work week
  • Early Friday finishes
  • 4.5 day work week
  • 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
  • OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation of products on the premise.
