What You'll Do:
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering world-class energy solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating General Arrangement Drawings and Electrical Schematics using 2D AutoCAD/Draftsight.
- Designing 3D assemblies using SolidWorks, with a focus on high-quality sheet metal components for fabrication.
- Developing detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project.
- Overseeing the day-to-day progress of your projects and coordinating with the production team to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicating directly with customers to ensure project needs are met.
What You Bring:
- NVQ Level 3 or HNC/D in an Engineering Discipline.
- Experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks and AutoCAD/Draftsight, along with Microsoft Office tools.
- A knack for problem-solving and a desire to learn and grow in your field.
- Highly organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of LV Switchgear or custom substation enclosures/E-houses is a plus.
- Ability to cost projects would be advantageous.
- Possession of a valid CSCS/ECS card is desirable.
